Microsoft Outlook 2007 - Basic

Users of UNT Outlook email system

Description:

This class introduces users to UNT’s installation of MS Outlook 2007.  Outlook enables users to send and receive emails, use calendar functions to manage schedules, and provides numerous functions to manage contacts and work tasks.

 

Emphasis in the class will be on understanding how to perform basic functions previously accomplished using the GroupWise email application.  Additionally, new features found in Outlook will be introduced to students.

Prerequisites:

Students should carefully review the Microsoft Outlook 2007 quick start card provided by their department’s computing support.

·         Navigate and understand the Contact window

Module 5:  Calendar Usage

Upon completion of this module the student will be able to…

 

·         Create appointments

·         Use the Plan a Meeting feature

 

Module 6:  Task Functions
