Office Communicator 2007 R2 allows you to invite another person to join your text chat session. The instructions below will show you how to accomplish this.

Adding Someone to a Communicator Conversation
OPTION 1
Step 1) Click the Invite Menu at the top of the conversation window.
Step 2) Select "Invite a Contact."
Step 3) Click on the contact that you want to join the meeting.
OPTION 2
Step 1) Click on the contact that you would like to join the conversation.
Step 2) Drag and drop that contact's name over to you conversation window.
