How do I install Office Communicator to my Blackberry Device?
Step 1)
Go to the Blackberry site and download the Blackberry Enterprise Messaging Client .

Step 2)
There are two versions of the Messaging Client. One for Blackberry Storm and one for all other Blackberry devices. Choose the one that applies to your device and click next.
Step 3)
Download desktop version.
Step 4)
Fill in all appropriate information on the next page. Click agree after reading legal agreement.
Step 5)
Download program to zip file. (If assistance is needed, contact Technical Support.)
Step 6)
Save the downloaded file to your computer.
Step 7)
From the Zip file choose OfficeCommunicator2007_en.alx for extraction.
Step 8)
Choose the desired location for the file and extract it. (Note the location where you extracted the file.)
Push Enterprise Messenger Application to your BlackBerry device
Step 1)
To push the Enterprise Messenger to your device open Blackberry Desktop Manager. If you don't have the CD that came with the Blackberry device, download the program from the Blackberry Website. http://na.blackberry.com/eng/services/desktop/
Step 2)
To connect your Blackberry Device to the PC, use the USB cable for your device. (You need to be logged into your account with your UNT Exchange profile.)
Step 3)
From the Blackberry Dektop Manager application select Application Loader. After it is selected, click "Add/Remove Application" then press the start button.
Step 4)
Click "Browse" to find the previously downloaded file. (The location you chose earlier when it was extracted from the zip file.)
Step 5)
Select the Enterprise Messenger, it should show on the window, then click "Next" and then "Finish".
Using Enterprise Messenger - Logging On
Three things will need to be filled in on your Blackberry when the sign-in page comes up:
1. Sign-in name (firstname.lastname@unt.edu)
2. User name (UNT/EUID001, be sure to capitalize UNT)
3. Enter password
After this information is provided click sign-in. Allow some time for first sign-in to go through.
