Using Apple's Address Book to view the UNT address book.

How to configure Apple's Address Book to look up UNT email addresses.

A UNT domain account is needed to perform a search. You will also have to install the UNT AD Root Certificate on your workstation for SSL to work properly. The instructions on how to do this are found on the Directory Services Team website at http://dst.unt.edu.

Step 1)

Launch the Address Book application in OS X. 

Step 2)

Open the application's preferences (File > Preferences).

Step 3)

Go to the LDAP settings, and click the "+" to create a new directory entry.

Step 4)

Enter these settings:

Name: UNT Directory (Or what ever you want)

Server: gabuntdc01.unt.ad.unt.edu

Port: 636

Use SSL: Yes

Allow Self-signed certificates: Yes

Search base: dc=unt,dc=ad,dc=unt,dc=edu

Authentication: Simple

User name: UNT\euid

Password: ••••••••
