Office Communicator for Macintosh.

The Macintosh client for OCS 2007 (Office Communication Server) is Mac Messenger 7.0 and you can get it here: http://download.microsoft.com/download/3/f/3/3f322747-f67c-4607-b06c-82f...

You must use Messenger 7.0 or higher. Earlier versions included in Office for Mac will not work.

Installing.

Step 1)

Download OCS 2007

Step 2)

Once downloaded, double-click the .dmg file and in the window that appears, drag the Microsoft Messenger icon to the Applications folder. This installs the client:

Launch and Configure:

Step 1)

Double click the Microsoft Messenger application to begin. The Setup Assistant begins. Read the first window then click 'Next'.

Step 2) 

Click 'Next' and agree to the license terms (the application will search for previous versions of Messenger for Mac):

Step 3) 

Choose the account type you wish to set up; in this case, you should select "Corporate Account" and click 'Next':

Step 4) 

Enter your UNT Exchange/Outlook Mail address and account information. Remember to use your UNT Primary Mail address (firstname.lastname@unt.edu), and your UNT AD Domain account name and password (UNT\euid0123):

Step 5) 

Next, you can choose to have a Messenger shortcut placed on your Dock and/or have Messenger start when your Mac starts up:

Step 6) 

Click 'Finish' and Messenger starts and logs you into UNT's OCS System. You can now begin adding accounts and communicating.
